The NHL is expected to begin playing regular season games in a hot tub next season.
The NHL announced Monday that it will begin play in a new hot tub in Los Angeles in 2020.
The new facility will house the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks.
The new hot spot, which is a collaboration between the Los Angels Angels and Anaheim, will be constructed on the same site as the Kings and Ducks’ training complex.
“It is a very important milestone for our league,” said Commissioner Gary Bettman in a statement.
“It will serve as a showcase for our players and our teams, as well as the many fans who will see us in the sun.”
The Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and New York Knicks also have already set up their own hot tub.NBA players and wives will take a break from their game-day attire and get into a heated, two-piece bathing suit that has a unique design and is designed for comfort and mobility.
The Los Angels’ arena will be a temporary temporary home for the league as it begins to rebuild its facilities.
