FOX Sports is reporting that Apple has developed a system that can detect hackers who attempt to hack into your home via an iPhone’s microphone and camera.
The company says that if you’re using an iPhone 5 or later, your device can automatically detect and prevent intrusions by using two unique identifiers: a unique fingerprint, and a unique pattern.
If the intruder gets past the fingerprint, Apple says it will send the iPhone a text message, allowing it to “send a secure message.”
If you do not have an iPhone, you can also opt-out of the fingerprint feature by going to Settings, and then “Privacy.”
The company also says that Apple is also working on an app for iPhones that can notify the phone if an intruder is nearby and can lock your home.
